Article 1 — Purpose
These terms of sale govern the use of the QuickTagMP3 service, a web app that identifies, completes and rewrites the metadata (ID3 tags) and album covers of MP3 files stored locally on the user's device.
Article 2 — Service description
QuickTagMP3 runs entirely in the user's browser. Audio files are never uploaded or stored on a server. Only the file name and its duration are sent to the Deezer API to recognize the track. Tag writing is performed locally via the File System Access API.
Article 3 — License of use
The service is provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial use. The user agrees to use it only on files they own or are authorized to process.
Article 4 — Data processed
Personal data processing is described in our Privacy Policy. QuickTagMP3 collects no audio data. A user account may be created to keep a tagging history.
Article 5 — Liability
The service is provided 'as is'. The publisher cannot be held liable for data loss, misidentification or damage resulting from misuse. It is recommended to back up your files before any tag rewriting.

These terms may change as the service develops. The update date shown above is authoritative.
